Increased cartridge recycling necessitates the creation of an night shift at K2 Supplies

Epsom based K2 Supplies, the market leader in collecting and sorting printing consumables, has created a night shift to increase capacity in response to a continued surge in the level of printer
cartridges being offered for recycling.

Several new staff have been recruited, and a new night shift manager promoted from within the existing warehouse team, to create enough extra man hours each week to handle the increasing
demands of our global client base.

K2 Supplies offers nationwide collection programmes for consumers and businesses, enabling them to recycle their printer cartridges and mobile phones. One of the core areas of the collection
programme is working in conjunction with charities providing them with a valuable income stream, whilst also keeping cartridges out of landfill sites.

Paul Freshwater, managing director of K2 Supplies states: “The creation
of the night shift at our Epsom Warehouse is in response to a substantial increase in the level of cartridge collections booked through our wide range of programmes on offer. The increased
awareness of the negative impact of waste cartridges on the environment and the realisation that they can benefit charities by recycling with us is very encouraging.”

“K2’s collection programmes cater to all types of business and collections can range from single boxes to multiple pallet consignments and a night shift was devised as a logical response to
accommodate the extra processing required.”

K2 Supplies continues to develop programmes which offer clients and suppliers alike, an industry leading experience when transacting with K2.
